Glen Steiner, CPA

Glen provides tax and advisory services to taxpayers of all kinds and has long been a trusted advisor in the CPA Profession. He has a love for management accounting systems, tax planning and entity transitions and selection. He works primarily with growing businesses in the 1 to 20 million of assets or revenue in agriculture, real estate, construction, and more. He loves to go deep into partnership, corporation, and estate tax reporting and planning issues along with the owners of these entities. Glen has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2002. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of CPAs.

Fun Facts About Glen:

Glen grew up on a dairy farm in central IL and has a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Illinois in Animal Sciences and a Master’s Degree from Illinois State University in Accounting. He participated in owning and operating his family’s dairy farm until he was 30 years old and then pursued the Accounting Profession. Beyond his professional life, Glen actively participates in his Church. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife Rachel and takes joy in the blessings of their six children and nine grandchildren. Glen also enjoys fishing and the great outdoors, yet he and Rachel make it a priority to travel and spend quality time with their children and grandchildren whenever possible.

Ann McMahon, CPA

Tax Manager

Ann joined Steiner Consultants as a Tax Manager in 2021and has played a crucial role in our team ever since. Prior to joining our firm, she successfully ran her own practice for 11 years and has specialized in Farm tax preparation and planning for over thirty years. She has held her CPA certificate since 1988. What sets Ann apart is her profound connection with her clients, as she truly values those relationships built over the years, considering each client as part of her extended family.

Fun Facts About Ann:

Beyond her professional commitments, Ann finds happiness in her role as a spouse and parent. She and her husband have proudly raised five successful children and enjoy the blessings of three grandchildren. Ann likes to spend time with her family and friends who are scattered all over the country; making travel one of her favorite past times. She also enjoys sitting down with a good book.

Phillip Carter, CPA

Tax Manager

After serving nearly eight years on active duty in the U.S. Army, Phil attended the University of Northern Colorado where he attained a Master of Accounting degree. Phil has served clients at large and small accounting firms since he started in Public Accounting in 2016. Phil enjoys serving clients and providing thoughtful tax advice while helping clients achieve their goals. Phil maintains an active CPA license with the state of Minnesota and is a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs.

Fun Facts About Phil:

Outside of his professional life, Phil’s passion is his family. With his wife Allision, he is enjoying raising his two children, Carson and Beckett. Phil and family enjoy playing games together and spending time as a family. 

Melissa Marin, E.A.

Senior Accountant

Melissa is a Senior Accountant and has been with Steiner Consultants LLC since December of 2020. She graduated from University of Minnesota Crookston in May of 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Before joining our team, she worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician for 6 years. Melissa works with individuals and small businesses providing income tax, payroll, and bookkeeping services. She enjoys being in accounting because it allows her to problem solve with numbers and see how they all fit together.

Outside the office, Melissa and her husband have four daughters. Melissa loves quality time spent with her family, enjoying the outdoors and participating in various sporting activities.

Benji Steiner, E.A.

Staff Accountant

Benji Steiner has been a Staff Accountant at Steiner Consultants since 2023. Before joining our team, he worked in the transportation and distribution industries. Transitioning into the field of accounting has given him an opportunity to see business operations in a whole new light. He is pursuing a four-year degree in Accounting and plans to take the CPA Exam once he has the necessary requirements met. He passed the Enrolled Agent(E.A.) IRS exam in 2024 which allows him to represent clients before the IRS.

Fun Facts About Benji:

Benji and his wife Kate have two daughters. He loves spending quality time with his family, fishing, and football. Outside the office, Benji enjoys working on his rural hobby farm.

Pam Wiechman

Customer Service Specialist Senior

Pam brings over three decades of administrative experience to her role as a Customer Service Specialist at Steiner Consultants, a role she has been in since 2021. With her extensive background in administration, Pam is a skilled communicator who likes engaging with our valued clients and providing them with exceptional support.

Fun Facts About Pam:

Outside of her early administrative positions after graduating from vocational school, Pam was an In-home Daycare Provider for 9 years before returning to the outside workforce in 1999. She and her husband have three children and seven grandchildren. Pam treasures quality time spent with her family. When seeking moments of leisure, she enjoys reading, quilting, and making various craft projects with her grandchildren.
